Can I close my browser window once the transfer has started?
Absolutely. You can close your browser window any time after after shopping cart transfer has started. Current migration(s) status is reflected on the "My Migrations" page in your account.

Will my migrated data types look as in my current store backend?
Cart2Cart provides the chance to replatform products, customers, and orders from your e-store database, but not your backend. That's why, no matter what filters or other configurations are set within your admin panel, the migrated entitites types will look exactly as it does in the database, not your store backend.

Can I be sure of my information security when using Cart2Cart?
Cart2Cart handles the replatforming using a separate secure Hetzner server, and the information is not stored after the transfer has been accomplished. Cart2Cart does not import credit card records and passwords. We use secure HTTPS protocol for all connections; only authorized staff can access the transfer. Find more details in our Security Policy

Do I risk losing data records information from my current e-store during the transfer?
The Source (current) store records aren't impacted by the replatforming at all. In layman's terms, the data (products, customers, orders, etc.) is simply copied and pasted into your Target. So, the transfer is totally secure for the e-shop that is migrated, and there is no risk of losing any of the information. We guarantee 100% uptime and information safety during the transfer with Cart2Cart. In other words, you can keep selling while your current store data is being migrated to the shopping cart solution.

Does replatforming influence affect the speed of my e-shop?
No, database transfer doesn't impact either the speed, or the performance of your existing e-shop. Cart2Cart only copies the data from your current store and pastes it on the new one. It doesn't affect in any way, so it can work as usual.

The time|duration of data transfer depends on many outside factors we can't control. The reasons causing a slow migration might vary for different types of shopping carts platforms. More info.
